Over the past weekend, the Voorhees University Track and Field team embarked on a journey to Philadelphia, PA, fueled with determination and anticipation, ready to showcase their talents on the grand stage of the Penn Relays.

As one of just two NAIA schools present, this event presented a unique opportunity for Voorhees University to demonstrate their prowess in the highly competitive realm of collegiate track and field. Despite being outside of their usual circuit, the athletes were undeterred, eager to leave their mark on this prestigious event.

Among the standout performances was the Men's 4 x 400 meter relay team, comprised of Ayden Chambers, Paul Parrish, Tumari Collins, and Rashid Silvera. With swift strides and synchronized efforts, they blazed their way to victory, claiming the title in the Eastern Division, a testament to their unwavering teamwork and skill.

Furthermore, individual excellence shone brightly as Michael Tatnall soared through the Men's Triple Jump competition, securing a commendable third-place finish. His remarkable athleticism and precision exemplified the caliber of talent present within the Voorhees University Track and Field program.
