Na’Diazia Whatley serves as Spirit Program Director at Voorhees University, where she leads the university’s cheerleading and dance programs with vision, discipline, and creativity. A passionate and purpose-driven leader, Whatley is committed to the holistic development of student-athletes — fostering excellence in performance, character, and school spirit.

In her role, she oversees all aspects of the Spirit Program, blending tradition with innovation to elevate the visibility and impact of cheer and dance at Voorhees. With more than a decade of experience as a dancer and cheerleader, along with six years of coaching experience, Whatley brings firsthand knowledge, professionalism, and passion to her leadership.

A proud HBCU graduate, Whatley earned her Master of Education from Voorhees University and her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Fort Valley State University. Her background as a student-athlete laid the foundation for her leadership philosophy and commitment to excellence both on and off the floor.

She is an active member of Delta Phi Delta Dance Fraternity, Incorporated, and the HBCU Auxiliary & Dance Directors Association. Additionally, she holds certification through the National Stomp and Shake Federation, reflecting her dedication to maintaining high performance and safety standards within the spirit community.

Focused on positioning Voorhees University’s Spirit Program for national recognition, Whatley is building a legacy centered on resilience, pride, and purpose. Her leadership philosophy reflects her approach:

Outside of her professional responsibilities, she enjoys teaching choreography, volunteering in the community, traveling, and spending time relaxing with her favorite shows and films.
