The game, held at the Moore Fitness Center, witnessed the Tigers extending their winning streak to a perfect 2-0 in the regular season.
Kaelin Davis led the scoring for Voorhees University with a stellar performance of 17 points, supported by
Ty'Shemia Bunkley who contributed 13 points. The team demonstrated a solid defense throughout the game and achieved their largest lead of 13 points in the third period at 02:21, showcasing their dominance on the court. Coach Edward Glover praised the team's effort stating, "it was a great win on the road," reflecting on the Tigers' resilience and strategic play.
Voorhees also saw significant contributions from
Alyssa Herder, who nearly completed a double-double with 10 points and 9 rebounds, and
Nedisha Ford, who matched Herder's rebound numbers while scoring 9 points herself. The team's tenacious defense was highlighted by multiple players making key steals, disrupting the Lady Rams' offense.
