In a challenging conference clash on December 7, 2024, the Voorhees University Tigers, representing the women's basketball team, faced off against the Fisk University Lady Bulldogs in Nashville, TN. The final score marked a tough contest for the Tigers, ending at 52-73 in favor of the Lady Bulldogs.
The Tigers started the game with some difficulties, trailing 25-39 by halftime.
Alyssa Herder shone brightly despite the tough opposition, leading her team with 13 points and contributing significantly on the rebounds and assists. Other notable performances came from
Ty'Shemia Bunkley with 12 points and
Inga Colclough, who added 10 points and secured 4 rebounds. Defensive efforts were highlighted by
Cambria Parker, who not only scored 6 points but also captured 4 rebounds and made an impressive 5 steals and 1 block.
