In a thrilling college basketball showdown on February 15, 2025, the Voorhees University Tigers managed to secure a win against the Oakwood University Ambassadors with a final score of 84-80. This game, part of the HBCU athletic conference, was held at Denmark, SC, and saw the Tigers overcoming a halftime deficit to clinch the victory.

The game kicked off with Voorhees University taking an early lead, with key plays from Dylan Magloire and Bryce Wilson contributing to a 6-0 run. Magloire's performance was particularly notable, ending the game with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Keshawn Evans led the scoring for the Tigers with 21 points, supported by Bryce Wilson and Xavier Finney, who added 12 and 9 points, respectively. Three-point shots from Omari Bryson and crucial plays throughout the game kept the Tigers ahead.
