DENMARK, S.C. (October 13, 2026) – The Voorhees University men's and women's cross-country teams are headed to New Orleans, Louisiana, as the Tigers prepare to compete in the 2026 Historically Black Colleges and Universities Athletic Conference (HBCUAC) Cross Country Championships on Friday, October 16, at City Park.

The Tigers depart for New Orleans on Tuesday, looking to put together strong performances against conference competition and compete for championship honors.

The men's 8-kilometer championship race is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Central Time (11 a.m. Eastern), followed by the women's 6-kilometer championship race at 11 a.m. Central Time (Noon Eastern).

The championships will provide Voorhees student athletes with an opportunity to compete for individual and team recognition while representing the university on one of the conference's biggest stages of the cross-country season.
