During his tenure at Voorhees, Glover has guided the program to multiple conference championships and more than 300 career victories. Prior to his time at Voorhees, Glover served as head women’s basketball coach at Denmark Technical College, where he was mentored by the late Theodore Chaplin — Voorhees alumnus, Hall of Famer, and coaching legend. In his final season at Denmark Tech, Glover led the program to an impressive 20–4 record.

He also served as an assistant men’s basketball coach at Claflin University under the late James “Gus” Guydon (former Voorhees men’s head coach, 1984–85). A native of St. Matthews, South Carolina, Glover was a three-sport scholar-athlete at Calhoun County High School. He later attended Francis Marion University, where he lettered as a member of the men’s basketball team, before earning a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Claflin University and a Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling from South Carolina State University.

In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Glover is a licensed mental health professional counselor with the Orangeburg Area Mental Health Center, serving Bamberg, Calhoun, and Orangeburg counties. He currently serves as Clinic Director of the Bamberg County Satellite Office in Denmark and brings more than 27 years of experience in the human services field.

Glover is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. He is married to Dr. Elrica L.C. Glover, and they are the proud parents of two daughters and one son.
