In a closely contested battle at the Adams-Jenkins Complex in Jacksonville on November 13, the Voorhees University Tigers were edged out by Edward Waters University, culminating in a 74-78 defeat. This regular season basketball engagement left the Tigers with a 0-3 record thus far. Despite a spirited second-half performance, Voorhees University couldn't overturn their halftime deficit, trailing 32-36 at the break.

Keyshaun Fleetion stood out with an impressive 21-point performance for Voorhees, leading his team's scoring efforts.
