Denmark, S.C. — Voorhees University proudly announces the 2025 class of inductees into its Athletic Hall of Fame. The formal induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 6:00 PM in the Leonard
E. Dawson Health and Human Resources Center on campus. The university will host a special unveiling of the 2024 Inaugural Hall of Fame Class at 5:00 PM, honoring the foundation laid by the pioneers of Voorhees athletics.
The 2025 Hall of Fame Class represents a remarkable collection of former student-athletes, coaches, administrators, and benefactors who have made significant and lasting impacts on Voorhees Athletics.
2025 Inductees Include:
- Antwan Carter – Men's Basketball
- Raymond Cooper – Football
- Vivian Reed Dicks – Women's Basketball
- Jackie Dinkins – Men's Basketball (Posthumously)
- Dr. W. Franklin Evans – Administrator
- Shawn Hale – Benefactor
- Tammy Harbin-Hunt – Women's Basketball
- Willie Jefferson – Administrator
- Nickell Jennings – Track & Field
- Amber Johnson – Women's Basketball
- Charlene Johnson – Administrator
- Rashonda Mayfield – Women's Basketball
- Rhadja Paige – Women's Basketball
- Terrick Phillips – Men's Basketball
- Roger "Poncho" Smith – Baseball
- Mildred Smith – Women's Basketball
- Louis White – Men's Basketball
- Andre Williams – Men's Basketball Coach

Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics Charlene Johnson stated, "I am honored to be a part of this outstanding group of individuals that have dedicated so much of themselves to Voorhees University". "This distinguished class of inductees represents the excellence, dedication, and legacy of Voorhees University Athletics," said Voorhees University President Dr. Ronnie Hopkins. "We look forward to celebrating their achievements and preserving their stories for future generations to come."
