Antonio Maurice Bolton, born in Augusta, Georgia, and a resident of Warrenton, Georgia, is one of the most accomplished scorers in Voorhees basketball history. A 2004 graduate of Warren County High School, Bolton brought size, skill, and scoring ability to the Tigers’ program as a 6-foot-2 shooting guard.

Bolton made an immediate impact as a freshman at Voorhees University, averaging 9.9 points per game and earning All-Freshman Team honors along with Freshman of the Year recognition in 2005. Over the next three seasons, his production steadily increased averaging 19.0, 20.8, and ultimately 22.0 points per game as a senior.

By the conclusion of his collegiate career, Bolton was nationally ranked in multiple categories, including scoring, three-point field goal percentage, steals, and free throw percentage (83%). His all-around performance and leadership helped guide the Tigers to two NAIA National Tournament appearances.

In 2006, Bolton earned Conference Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year honors a rare combination that highlighted both his offensive dominance and defensive prowess. He was also recognized nationally as an NAIA Third-Team All-American and later received NAIA All-American Honorable Mention honors (2007–2008).

Beyond the court, Bolton excelled academically. He was recognized as an Academic Scholar and was selected to Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities. He is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated.

Bolton’s legacy at Voorhees is defined by elite scoring, defensive excellence, and a commitment to academic and personal achievement.
