Tymesha Hosch was born and raised in Winder, Georgia. Hosch came to Voorhees University as a 1996 graduate from Winder-Barrow High School. At Voorhees, she pledged Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. by way of the 17 Incorruptible Dreams of Eta Phi in the Spring of 1999 solidifying her membership with the Divine Nine.
Her honors include: Dean's List Award, Cum Laude Graduate, National Dean's List Award, United States Achievement Academy (USAA), National Collegiate Minority Leadership Award, Who's Who Among Students in
American
Universities and Colleges, and Who's Who Among Teachers in American Universities and Colleges (2007). Her athletic honors include: Best Newcomer
(1997), All Tournament Team, All Classic Team, EIAC All Conference (1997, 1999, 2000), EIAC All Tournament, Best Offensive Player, Athletic Academic Award (2000), Co-MVP (2000), and Coach's Award (2001).
She was a four-year starter that served many roles. She started as the one, two, three, and four man during her career at Voorhees University. She was the team captain for three years. She helped lead her team to three ElAC Tournament Championships, and returned to Voorhees University in 2004 serving as a Math Instructor and Softball Coach until 2009. Currently, she teaches Math, serves as the Department Chair and Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach at Conway High School.
